Campus and vibes

Current Student

I am currently enrolled in Imperial Valley College. I am currently a freshman, majoring in communications, while alson being a student athlete on the women's basketball team. I have found this school to be welcoming, resourceful, and fun! Not only does this school prepare students for the academics they will be facing after transferring, but it also prepares students for what they may face personally after transferring, such as mental health changes, finances, housing, and more.

Current Student

Imperial Valley College is a great college where you can start your journey. It has great teachers, and academically it was awarded the ASPEN prize as the top college in the nation. The only part i wish I could change is the diversity and party scene, as a lot of older students attend wishing to get a degree, which is great because they get the opportunity to do so but it does not have a lot of socializing between students.

Student

Imperial Valley College is a good community college, especially since it is the only one in the Valley, including the San Diego State campus. They have overall good professors and staff that can help you. The Imperial Valley gets pretty hot, so I like how they offer cooling stations that provide water and snacks to keep you cool.

Student

Imperial Valley College is home to all of the valley. Campus is very clean, however some buildings are over due for an update. Cafeteria/Student Center always has good meals and reasonably priced. Professors can be hit or miss depending on your learning style.

Student

I like that the college provide a lots if resources for students to guide from and it helps homeless students by providing a secured shelter for them while attending classes as well as it provides food for them. The school cares about overall students.
