Student reviews

Professors

Student

Cerro Coso is a great school with many options for learning. Class sizes are small and easy to get in to. There is the option of taking classes online or in person which is also a massive plus.

Student

The faculty are amazing. The variety of classes and programs is extremely wide. The tutors are so helpful.

Student

Cerro Coso offers many classes both online and on campus. However, I do believe that the instructors could be a little more professional and organized in their teaching. Overall, Cerro Coso is a good school for students transitioning out of high school, but I wouldn't say it sufficiently prepares students for university-level studies.

Campus and vibes

Student

The admissions faculty are amazing. Councelers have been known to go out of their way to make sure students ha r the things they need to be successful. EOPS is a god send to students who are parents, handycap, or even facing housing go instabillity.

Student

Cerro Coso does such an amazing job of serving its community and its students. The environment is really welcoming and accommodating and many of the professors are just absolutely wonderful. It's a small community college, and you get what you put in, but Cerro Coso is really focused on setting its students up for success.

Student

I am a new Student athlete at CC college. Excellent athletic facilities and supportive Coach. Weather is very hot most of the time.

Student

I have attended this college on and off for several years. I love that it provides a needed service to or community and does a great job of it. Their counselors have been attentive and helpful, the courses push you without breaking you, and the professors are professional without being aloof.

Student

Cerro Coso Community College is a mixed bag but it has qualities that are truly loveable. The Campus has a lovely library with an excellent view and the faculty are outstanding. In a more urban or populated area and school, a student is more likely to encounter bureaucratic issues when navigating financial aid or counseling processes.

Student

They Have so many programs and amazing staff here they care for their students and have so many resources to the point where there is no reason you can't go to college.
