Although my experience at College of the Desert was satisfactory and enabled me to achieve my goal of transferring to a four-year university, I found myself feeling socially impaired to a certain extent within the school's community due to a lack of promotion for social and extracurricular activities. As far as professors and academics, however, I had a great experience. The majority of my professors proved to be extremely understanding, kind, and knowledgeable, and I particularly enjoyed the classes that I took in relation to my major. The campus always felt very safe and clean, and I enjoyed the overall learning environment that the College of the Desert provided.
