Student reviews

Professors

Current Student

DVC is a great college, they have so many resources available to you and every single professor will make it known and try to actively share any and all information to you. All of my professors have been very knowledgable and willing to help, obviously not everyone is going to be perfect or have th best attitude but overall all of them are helpful and ready/ willing to do their jobs.

Campus and vibes

Current Student

Overall, DVC is a very good community college. The campus is very nice, pretty big for a community college. I've had a good experience with professors, and the academic standard is fair. There are multiple student centers on campus that have free tutors almost all day. There are also many learning communities and clubs on campus that you can join to get more involved. Some examples of these are MESA, PUENTE, and Umoja, which have a dedicated center and specific counselors. I wouldn't say the student life is the best since this is a community college, and most people commute.
