Student reviews

Professors

Student

I am an out-of-state student and found a small group of tight-knit friends very quickly. We studied together often to get through the long and rigorous homework nights together. While the homework and exams are mostly difficult, it pays off. The dorms are spacious and have many study rooms.

Campus and vibes

Senior

The campus hosts several events throughout the semester, which are usually independently hosted by a group of RAs in a particular residential apartment. Each floor can have their own events. It should be said that this campus is in the middle of NOWHERE, so it takes a while to get to the interesting locations. This hasn't really bothered me, being a shut-in introvert. But I've made good friends on campus, so the monotony isn't bad.

Freshman

I am currently about to end my freshman year at Florida Poly, and I have loved it so far. The small class size really aids individual learning, and there are plenty of great amenities and social events and activities to enjoy. Also the food on campus is great, and living on campus is extremely convenient. I am very excited to continue my education at Florida Poly.

Alumni

Attending Florida Poly had a significant impact on me during an influential time of my life, but the same can be said of any college experience. A distinguishing factor of Florida Poly is its potential to influence the future of a university still in its early years. As a smaller university, I was able to explore and get involved in many different areas I may not have otherwise been able to.
