Foothill College has amazing professors and counselors ready to assist you with your plans, whether it involves transferring to a 4-year university or applying for an accelerated program such as VET tech, dentistry, or Respiratory therapy. On-campus services such as the Owl's Nest (2 free snacks every day), library, Learning Resource Center (LRC), and STEM Center work to provide solid support systems.

I attended Foothill because I couldn't get enough scholarships from the private colleges I applied to. I initially hated Foothill because it was a community college, as a dumb teen. Near the end of my time at Foothill, I was a fan because the education quality is ridiculously high.

Student

Unless you transfer to Stanford or a similar college, you'll be disappointed after studying at Foothill. Some of the STEM and English professors are from the top institutions, and they teach there because they want to give back. The only advice is that you really need to find those professors.

Campus and vibes

My experience at Foothill College has been incredibly positive. The campus environment is welcoming, supportive, and diverse, and the professors genuinely care about student success. I’ve been able to explore different academic interests, meet people from many backgrounds, and take advantage of helpful resources like the ISP office, the library, and tutoring centers.

Take honors. Foothill might be the biggest bang for the buck in the US. A couple of my classmates were already doing internships at Apple and Google back then.
