George T. Baker is a technical school but be prepared to do a lot of reading. You have to pay attention to the entire course of general to be prepared for the next courses. It’s the foundation of everything else you’ll learn later on. Also, it’s ok for you to ask your classmates for help when you didn’t grasp something. One last thing you should know is that there is an app the helps you practice for the FAA qualifier tests which is called prepware. Keep in mind it will cost some money but so worth it because it helps with general, power plant, and airframe.

Student

My experience so far has been interesting so far. We haven’t reached to the part where we work on the plane's daily yet but it’s nice to read about the different parts of the plane and their role. One thing that’s really helped me is Prepware which gives you tests on the courses you’re taking. With this app, I’ve been able to retain a lot of information. Overall my experience have been entertaining and really encouraging to continue.

Made the Right Decision. I am very happy with my choice of schooling as well as the field. This school is a vocational school on its own, with no national chains. It stands as a very well renowned aviation school, and I intend to be one of the students who leave with a lasting impression to continue its legacy.
