I have had a fantastic experience, mostly great professors, and some amazing professors that have changed my life and helped me see that I'm actually not bad at math, I just needed better teachers. The student life is great, lots of clubs and students are very welcoming. I'd recommend getting involved in a club.

As an online student at Grossmont College, my experience has been excellent. Canvas has been user-friendly. The professors are normally pretty responsive and give clear instructions. The course materials most of the time are well-organized and accessible. I appreciate the flexibility of online classes. It allows me to balance my studies. The support services, like virtual tutoring, are very helpful. My GPA of 3.8 reflects the quality of education. I feel connected to my peers despite the distance of going to an online school. Overall, my time at Grossmont College has been positive.

Campus and vibes

Current Student

As a 2nd year student at Grossmont, I've become acclimated to student life on campus. Since it is a community college, the activty levels are a bit lower compared to student activty at 4-year universities. The campus can be quiet at times, but when there is an event, it is excting and wholesome. I think the experience in classes and socially feels more intamite and personal since it is a smaller school. There are less students enrolled in community colleges genrally compared to univeristies, so the professors are able to focus more on each individual student. This is mice because I recieved personal advice and more guidance than I could ask for. It makes the school experience much more comfortable.

Studying at Grossmont College has been a great experience for me so far. The community is welcoming and you can easily make friends that you will connect with and get close to. There is a lot of activities going on on campus from clubs to weekly fairs and celebrations. The professor are all good, at least in my experience, they also try their best to help you understand the material and provide you with all the necessary information to succeed.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and the campus. I attended from 2019-2022, and the campus was always clean and most Professors were friendly. The food options were also good and they always had a variety, even down to the lightest amounts of food. The campus life was great as well, those promoting clubs were very friendly and engaging. If I had the opportunity to go back again for classes I would. There was also a lot of parking especially in the moring, which made it run a lot smoother.
