Professors

Current Student

As a full-time student at HACC, my overall experience has been wonderful. The academics are challenging but achievable, due to the quality of teaching the professors provide. For each professor I have had, aims for students to truly learn and grasp the information at hand. They value us not only as their students but as people who have a life outside of school, which is meaningful to me.

My experience at Harrisburg Area Community College has been pretty great! All of my professors have been very welcoming and helpful with me. I was very nervous to start college because I didn't have a plan, but HACC provides great resources that have helped me a lot through college.

Student

There are a lot of diverse online courses to take advantage of, but your connection to the college may feel lacking if you’re 100% online. The professors are always helpful, and tutors are available when needed. You’ll feel supported academically.

Campus and vibes

Student

HACC is an encouraging environment that allow me to chase my dream. I am an mother, wife , full time working student. I am self sponsor and my college gives me an opportunity to pick my classes to suit my limited time and fund. I was opportuned to take some of my classes online, which made it easier.

Student

This college has good professors who keep the classroom engaging, and it's easy to navigate through the online material. The library and Cooper building are clean and spacious. There are lots of quiet places to study and a lot of space outdoors as well.

Student

I have a high appreciation for Harrisburg Area Community College. They are affordable and have great teachers that do not discriminate the students on race or religion. The food is not very good on campus and there is not much of a social life there.
