There are a lot of diverse online courses to take advantage of, but your connection to the college may feel lacking if you’re 100% online. The professors are always helpful, and tutors are available when needed. You’ll feel supported academically.

Campus and vibes

My experience at Harrisburg Area Community College has been pretty great! All of my professors have been very welcoming and helpful with me. I was very nervous to start college because I didn't have a plan, but HACC provides great resources that have helped me a lot through college. The only thing I would like to see change is for there to be more spots on campus for students to study, and for there to be a larger variety of courses to take.

Student

I have a high appreciation for Harrisburg Area Community College. They are affordable and have great teachers that do not discriminate the students on race or religion. The food is not very good on campus and there is not much of a social life there. There is however good cafes very close to the campus.
