Student reviews

Campus and vibes

Sophomore

I was a former fashion student here, and I do not recommend going into fashion program or even going to OTIS if you’re not mentally and physically prepared! I regret going here because I was depressed most of the time, and it seems like the faculty and staff don’t care about students’ overall wellbeing. My classmates and I would regularly get less than 5 hours of sleep every week, and it drives me crazy. I would find myself breaking down during class because of how tired and stressed I was. OTIS is honestly not worth my time and money, so I don’t recommend going here if you’re not ready to be sleep deprived. Also, having no excused absences is ridiculous!!! Even if you’re sick, you’d be forced to attend class because they don’t do excused absences.
