Campus and vibes

Student

La Sierra University tries to its best abilities in providing a safe, educating and growing experience for all students including staff/faculty. The opportunities for college students to work are very wide open; giving the students the opportunity to sustain themselves financially while studying. I personally experienced this in the first 2 years of my studies and it helped me to provide for myself; as I didn't have to worry to much about how to pay for school and this in hand allowed me to have better college experience.

Student

La Sierra University is an incredible place to learn and grow! The campus is beautiful, the professors truly care about students’ success, and the community is welcoming and supportive. The small class sizes allow for personal connections, and there are endless opportunities for involvement.

Student

I really enjoy the atmosphere on campus. It feels like a very safe environment to walk around in. I also liked the spiritual aspect of the University. I think I would like to see more life on campus as you don't really see much people walking around unless they are going to class.

Student

My experience at La Sierra has so far been good. The campus is beautiful and the academics seem to be pretty strong. I would say that La Sierra is lacking in their campus life, they struggle to find activities and social programs that are of interest to the majority of students, and they are not great when it comes to understanding and meeting the social needs of their student body.

Student

In general the school is very poorly ran and could definitely improve in organization and communication. Many departments seem to be short staffed and over worked. Student life is basically dead, there aren’t any clubs and you barely see students around campus, it’s a ghost town.
