Student reviews

Professors

Student

Lake Tahoe Community College is a great, 2 year college that offers many different courses and degrees. I like the small but cozy campus with the open areas as well as the private rooms to study in. I would like to see more choices of classes and degrees such as nursing, which isn’t its own degree at LTCC. I’d like to see a wider variety in film classes as well. Overall, LTCC is a great college.

Campus and vibes

Student

I enjoy the location and how it is placed in the center of the city. It allows people to explore the area without worrying about needing to go too far from school. Especially if you are a part of the student housing. The perks are the availability of the professors and student services along with the accessibility to Lake Tahoe and nearby hiking trails. It captivates the magic that you see in nature that most places wouldn't be able to obtain.

Student

Lake Tahoe Community College is a great way for students to explore their career paths. They have so many staff who offer support in different fields. They also have meta majors, Health and public safety, STEM, hospitality/ management/ leadership, Arts/languages/humanity, and Society/Culture/Education. These meta majors allowed me to meet new people. Besides security and parking, it is a great campus, and there are so many clubs and activities to choose from. They are also welcoming dorms in the fall of 2025! Little campus taking big steps in education! :)
