At Los Angeles Mission College, It has been a great experience with getting me ready to transfer to California State University of Northridge. I am a part of a program called Puente which helps underrepresented students transfer to the four year colleges they desire. Puente helps us prepare by showing us how to transfer and how to prepare for our four year college.

Campus and vibes

Student

One of the things I really like about my college is the vibrant and diverse community. It's amazing to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures, which broadens my perspective and enriches my learning experience. The campus itself is beautiful, with plenty of green spaces and modern facilities that make studying and socializing enjoyable.

Student

I’ve had a pretty good time at La Mission. The campus or campuses are nice and very quiet. There’s not much to do in terms of a social scene. No football team is a bit of a bummer.

I am also a part of the Promise Program where students are guaranteed two free years of college as long as they take up to twelve units and don't maintain a 2.0 GPA.
