Campus and vibes

Prospective

I was interested in Mount Holyoke because my mom went there. We toured, and I like it there a lot, enough to apply there. I applied early decision, and I was accepted! Yay! I like the college's atmosphere, and the traditions. I also know that I will be challenged there.

Sophomore

Mount Holyoke is truly the place for ambitious and open-minded students. The academics are top-tier, along with incredible professors who deeply care about the success of their students. There are many opportunities to get involved on campus and to find your people, but the surrounding area can get a bit confining at times because of its remote location. MHC strives to make sure everyone feels like they belong, whether it's in inclusive housing, programming for all types of interests, or allowing students to take classes in any subject area they find interesting. Come to MHC if you want to grow and find yourself, as well as your people, while focusing on your academic journey.

Alum

I loved the welcoming community. Since I am from another country, it was important for me to feel comfortable and welcomed. And that is what the whole orientation team did good at. I love the amount of opportunities we have here to help us grow in our comfort zone.

Freshman

I love MHC. It is truly my home away from home. Almost everyone I have met here has been kind and accepting. My professors have been great too thus far. Staff in the dining hall are the best they are all so kind and friendly I love working with them.

Alum

I attended Mount Holyoke as an adult, enrolling at age 28, as what they call a Frances Perkins student. I chose it because of this support for nontraditional-age students. Otherwise I had a completely traditional experience there - I lived and worked on campus, was on the dining plan, and took a full-time course load.
