Student reviews

Professors

Student

Newschool of Architecture and Design is a fantastic place for those who are interested in Architecture, Construction, and Design. What I enjoy about the school is the ability to share and provide feedback among peers when performing projects or assignments. Another factor as to why Newschool has been an excellent experience for me so far, is because of its encouragement towards students to think outside of the norm of what most people face and be critical about any challenges that students in Newschool come across.

Student

NewSchool is a very intimate school for design students. It is a school where students get a lot of valuable input from professors that practice in the day at a firm and teach studio as well as other classes during the evening. I found the experience of learning architecture at NewSchool to be valuable in my professional career.

Student

The curriculum includes real world architecture and design experience. Facilities are lacking in regularly functioning equipment.

Campus and vibes

Student

So far so good! The staff is very helpful and processes are pretty good and are being updated. Love that its a design school and that is the focus.

Student

What I like in Newschool Of Architecture and Design is that the job opportunities that they have are exclusively for student-based organizations and nice staff too. They are a voice of most students because of the work they do and what they are giving to students. What is lacking is that teachers needs to be more sensitive of student's knowledge as they are in a fast-paced program and the course that they are teaching should be done by the professor itself.

Student

great experience! I highly recommend NewSchool of Architecture & Design to any aspiring design student. Great staff and peers

Student

Newschool of Architecture and Design is a diverse school with many different student and faculty. The courses are rigorous while rewarding and although it is small their are so many wonderful people to meet. Great environment to be around, happy and helpful. I love it here and I know many other people do as well.

Cost and value

Student

Newschool is an ok architecture program, but be ready to pay a large amount out of pocket as they do not offer that much student aid.
