They cater to students with disabilities, advisors to help anyone with anything, and offering programs for Highschool students to study in the campus and get to experience the community college feel.

For my time at North shore, I’d say in simple terms a roller coaster. During the aftermath of covid, the transition of getting back into school was rather difficult. However, even though professors and other students were also struggling, everyone was still determined to make a name of themselves here.

I want to start off by saying that I am a college freshman at the moment and this is based off of my first semester at North Shore Community College. If you do not have access to a car then you will have a hard time getting to school.

About North Shore Community College

North Shore Community College maintains a well-trained NSCC Police Department and has taken measures to minimize crime on campus. The college utilizes an emergency notification system and offers escorts to students, faculty, and staff who may feel uncomfortable walking alone on campus. Blue light emergency call boxes are located in all college parking lots, connecting callers with the NSCC Police dispatcher.

The Honors Program at NSCC offers students the opportunity to engage in original research and interact one-on-one with faculty. Honors students have exclusive access to the Honors lounge, social and cultural experiences, and networking opportunities. NSCC's Honors Program is certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, guaranteeing admission to the Honors Programs at all State Universities and UMass schools for graduates.

NSCC's diverse community includes students from 18 countries, with the majority of international students coming from Nigeria, Italy, and Vietnam. The college provides support for English language learners and fosters a multicultural environment where students can learn from each other.
