Sophomore

Personally, my experience with Pepperdine University has been fulfilling both academically and socially. As a current sophomore, my freshman year taught me how to manage and succeed in my classes while also becoming integrated in the student community. Pepperdine's Natural Science program is challenging, but the faculty and resources provided are very helpful in supporting students' success.

Campus and vibes

Sophomore

Plus, the location of the Malibu campus allows for stunning views and access to both the beaches and the city of Los Angeles. The student life on campus is not quite as sports-centered or party-cultured as state schools or larger universities, which may be disappointing to some. However, I personally believe that Pepperdine's unique, spiritual, close-knit community, with peers and faculty who value connecting with you, makes up for where it lacks and sets it apart from any other school.

Student

I am drawn to Pepperdine Christian University because of its unique blend of academic excellence and deep commitment to Christian values. Initially, Pepperdine’s tight knit community and prime location is what drew me to the school. When I came across “Waves Worship” and “The Well” on Instagram, it gave me a deeper reason for my interest in the institution.

Freshman

Not much school spirit, no one goes to games or matches. Food is decent, but could be better. Professors are fantastic.

Student

Student life is only great if you have money and are able to get off campus otherwise its basically a prison with a nice view. The current president is disgusting and greedy and does not hold a light to his predecessor. When I was accepted into Pepperdine they were ranked 49th in the nation now I think were down to 70 something that just show the direction this university in moving while the cost of attendance continues to rise.
