PSU is amazing! There are tons of students who are continuing with academics. I am currently a first-year student majoring in Interior Designer. All professors are doing this job to prepare us for the real world.

Student

Students ere are very serious about their work and how they do things. instead of blowing their work off til the last min they start their work during or after class before they start anything else they know when its time to have fun and when it is time for work because this is their job and they don't play when it calls for work to be done.

When looking at colleges and taking tours, think about how you would feel making that walk every day. I went on two tours including Pitt State and I knew when I saw Pitt that it was more for me than the other. When you do decide on a school, no matter where it is, make sure that you fill out housing and other applications right when you get them and mail them back to ensure that you get what you want.

Student

getting involved in as many groups or organizations as you can will get you everywhere here at pitt.

Cost and value

Student

Don't pick a school solely on where your friends are attending, the distance from home, where your boyfriend/girlfriend is attending, or what school has the best party scene. Focus on what you want to get out of school considering you will be paying for it, also focus on what your major is and what the best school would be for that degree.

Student

don't buy your books from the bookstore here! they charge outrageous prices, even for rentals. you'll get less then 30 or 40 percent of what you paid back for the books. a big waste of money.
