It’s clear the staff genuinely wants to help students become successful. Making relationships with professors has been so beneficial, and often countless opportunities to get your name out there, and real work experience arise. I’ve never seen such an inclusive and aware environment.

I love the location of Point Park the most. It is located in downtown Pittsburgh so there is so much access to activities, restaurants, etc. in your free time. The campus activities board is another awesome aspect that really works towards engaging and involving students in campus life.

I loved the community and inclusivity at Point Park. It is not a big school, so there is a really strong sense of community among my peers. The dance program is excellent. Teachers are highly qualified, talented, and supportive.

About Point Park University

Point Park University prioritizes campus safety with its own police force and public safety measures. The Point Park University Police Department consists of 10 sworn officers and four civilian dispatchers, providing 24/7 coverage to ensure the safety of the campus community. The department utilizes foot, vehicle, and bicycle patrols, as well as a wide scope of technology, including over 650 cameras and emergency call boxes.

Point Park University's Honors Program challenges students academically and encourages them to work creatively to reach their highest potential as scholars and leaders. Honors students benefit from priority course registration, a greater variety of course projects, activities, and research opportunities. They also have opportunities to serve on faculty-student committees and administrative task forces.

Point Park University welcomes international students, who make up 4% of the undergraduate population. International students can be awarded academic merit scholarships of up to $20,000 per academic year for undergraduate programs and up to $1,500 per academic year for graduate programs. Full-time student visa holders are not permitted to work off-campus except for optional or curricular practical training purposes.
