Professors

Student

My experience at Robert Morris University has been very positive. I like the smaller class sizes because they make it easier to talk to professors and get help when needed. The professors really do care about their students and want them to succeed. I also appreciate that RMU focuses on hands on learning through projects and internships, which has helped me better understand my major and prepare for my future career.

Campus and vibes

Student

The faculty and staff truly want to see you succeed. Class sizes typically range from 20 to 50 students. This makes it a lot easier to ask questions and get the support you need. Most professors will even learn your name. But beware of the terrain and hills on campus.

Student

The food is delicious, and it is real food. The cafeteria consists of an Italian station, a various fancy dinner kind of place, an Asian station, a burger and fry station, and a bakery and smoothie shop. It sounds simple as explained that way, but they have some wild food choices, You could get steak, filet mignon, or lobster, and we even have a wing night.

Student

The Food here gets three stars because it is good, but there is not a lot of variety and you may tire of it after your fist semester. However there are a lot of off campus options for food with in walking distance.

Student

The cafeteria is exquisite. There is something for everyone, and there are tons of healthy choices. You don't even feel like you are eating in a cafeteria! RMU has even gone so far as to put little cafes in some of the buildings across campus, making it easy and convenient to grab a coffee or a snack when you are on the run!

Student

Food is RMU's greatest weakness. There are four different places to get food: the PNC Colonial Café, RoMo's, Yorktown, and Wheatley. The Caf has a lot of different stations that range from decent to excellent. There are some good, healthy options that are new this year!

Student

fabulous! there is always a healthy option at one of the 3 on-campus eateries and tons of variety.

Student

Making friends at Robert Morris is effortless, and it is easy to feel included, as it is a very comforting and friendly campus! Overall, I think Robert Morris University is a great place for a person to learn, and obtain the knowledge they need to find a career for them!

Cost and value

Current Student

I had pretty good grades in high school with above average SAT scores. I got accepted into every school I applied to but wasn't get much financial aid. Robert Morris gave me half of tuition off in scholarships, then took the rest in grants. I mainly went to RMU because they were about half the price of my second cheapest option.

College Freshman

I will not bash RMU because I simply do not like it. But overall, for someone who has been raised in a middle class family with average grade when graduating high school, I think I could have chosen something a little less expensive. I feel like I'm in high school classes.
