The program is famous within the legal community for creating high-level working reporters. We have many alumni who return to speak to our classes. It's fun to have them in class and to hear about what it will be like before we get out there in the community.

The professors are top-notch and really care about the students, which shows in the time they take to engage with their classes. There is also a computer lab with a stenography practice program that is open nights and weekends.

Campus and vibes

I have been attending South Coast College for two years. I have enjoyed the fact that I can learn at my own pace. I have also connected with other students even though we are fully online. It has been a great experience so far.

Student

I was fortunate enough to be able to experience taking classes in person and online while attending South Coast College. I really enjoyed hybrid learning. The classes were still interactive, we were responsible for the same workload, technical support was available to all of us when needed, and I felt more focused learning in my comfort zone. It was a great experience!

Cost and value

Student

I understand that if they were honest with new students they probably wouldnt get as many new students, but with a 41% graduation rate, you have to wonder why 59% of students never complete the program. I want to be a success story. i want to show the school that it may take some time but you will finish and you can do it at nights while still having a full time job. the teachers and administration are so supportive and helpful and they all work in the industry so they know what they are talking about.
