So, I'm planning on joining the medical laboratory science program. But they say I have too many credits, so I can't be accepted into the pre-major, so I'll just have to apply to the program next year. You have to have the prerequisite classes before you can apply. But, there are too different lists of pre-reqs, so that's super confusing. It's hard to tell which one is the right one. On the application, you just fill it out and get three references, and if you are a candidate, they'll call you back for an interview.

I am from Chicago with excellent grades and extracurricular activities and an average ACT score of 21, however at UK they will not provide you with any scholarships with that especially if you are Caucasian. UK primarily hands scholarships to minority students or if your ACT score was at least a 26 (the average ACT score here is 22/23). Overall UK has treat me well, the campus is beautiful and lets not forget, has the largest Starbucks in Kentucky on campus.
