Professors

Student

I am only a first year student at UML, but I can absolutely see myself continuing my studies here. One of the most notable things in my expierence has been the professors. They are well-versed in their subjects and therefore are able to properly convey the information to students. I have enjoyed my classes so far and have been exposed to the idea of following criminal justice as a potential minor.

Current Student

I am beginning my journey at UMass Lowell as a transfer student with an AS in Computer Systems Engineering from Springfield Technical Community College (STCC). I graduated from STCC with a 3.76 GPA and UMASS Lowell accepted 65 of my transfer credits. I applied online to UMass Lowell

Current Student

The most important admission criteria is a students GPA. My advice for admission into the DPT program is know that you really want to be a physical therapist before you apply and if you want to then really dedicate time and put your best efforts into school. Make sure you have a great academic standing so you can almost guarantee your spot into the program.

Campus and vibes

Current Student

Lowell's the only school in town to my (albeit kinda new) understanding. There are a ton of opportunities to take up and plenty more activities to take part in happening all over campus. Party wise it's only bested among the 4 Umass' by Amherst (Kinda obvious that one) but I find it very enjoyable. Professors tend to be on the respectful end and classes are easy enough to get to while living on campus.

Student

The University of Massachusetts Lowell provides a great experience for first-time college students and their families to attend a higher education institution, providing great student resources and activities.

Current Student

It was really easy for me to transfer to Umass. The make the process really easy and waived my application fee. I was unsure about transferring because it was almost time for the fall semester. After visiting the office I applied and was immediately enrolled and called up my other school and cancelled my fall classes.
