Professors

Alumni

Waynesburg is an amazing place for students who are looking to expand their academics in a Christian based way. As an education major, the department is extremely welcoming and prepares you for a life in the classroom with various field experiences in the classroom and classes directly tied to the field.

Alumni

Class ratios are small making it easy to get to know your professsors. The professors truly care about their students & their success. The school offers free peer tutoring & free counseling for students struggling whether it be academically or mentally. The food on campus is not the best but WU is located between 2 major cities making it easy to find food off campus! I recommend WU, specifically their nursing program! Students majoring in nursing at WU go through a rigorous program which adequately prepares them to take the NCLEX & pass to practice all they have worked for!

Current Student

Study hard, do not slack off, do your assignments and look to teachers and upperclassman to help you.

Current Student

Make sure you study! I thought it would be as easy as high school, but I have really had to step up my game.

Campus and vibes

Freshman

I appreciate Waynesburg's strong focus on community service and its commitment to providing a values-based education. The emphasis on ethical leadership and the opportunities for students to engage in service projects are definitely standout qualities. Additionally, the university's efforts to create a close-knit, supportive environment are commendable.

Junior

The campus is such a peaceful one. Everyone is so kind to one another and makes everyone feel included, The staff and professors are phenomenal and are always planning to keep students engaged.

Current Student

Tour the campus and spend the night with a student before deciding to attend. WU is very small and that should be considered.

Current Student

don't be afraid to talk to people you may not know, and if you smile at others they will smile back at you, but most important join an activity whether it be sports, student senate, student activities board whatever not only will it help you meet other students but it will keep you occupied when class is over and they give you free stuff.

Current Student

Come into the university ready to learn and wanting to meet new people. It's great when you can build new relationships that can lead to that future career of yours. Be prepared for sleepless nights, but don't make it a habit. Learn how to manage your time before you get here. It will take some time, but by junior year you should have it down.

Current Student

Try to get involved in things you know you can commit to, but don't overwhelm yourself if you can't handle it. Make sure you get to know the staff because they come in handy. Try not to eat more than what you normally do because the freshman 15 maybe become the freshman 30, but the gym is always open and that's helpful too. Finally take advantge of all the free events because you are paying for it.
