The music program can be extremely selective as far as admissions go. Being one of the "major" majors at WestConn (music education, justice and law, business, nursing, psychology). The music education major is extremely rigorous and can be very selective.

Wescon has a great campus with amazing and helpful staff and students. I enjoy every second I spend wether it’s in classes or studying at their phenomenal library. Wescon makes me more moviated to attend college and pursue my degree in nursing. Their nursing program is spectacular and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a BA in Nursing. Wescon is an amazing school that provides opportunities to many, being that they are so affordable with their tuition prices.

Western Connecticut State University is a school filled with diverse students and multiple choices for career advancement. There are many social activities that catch the attention of the student body such as school plays, clubs, and annual bonfires. The tutoring and disability services successfully accommodate every need for the incoming students in order to make their time at WCSU successful. The cafeteria food is also up to code with the health requirements and provides a vast assortment of healthy foods and sweets. Overall, my experience in the school has been very positive and I would highly recommend it to any incoming freshman.

I am a recent transfer student to WCSU. Prior to my transfer I was here every weekend as my best friend goes here. I got to experience a little bit of campus life and the amazing atmosphere of WCSU. My friend speaks so highly of the professors here and It really drew me in. I already love WCSU!
