Professors

Student

Very fun and relaxing place. A LOT of the work is hands on and it makes it very engaging. I find myself wanting to stay longer and help out more in order to get more work done. There's a lot of labs, combined with a lot of online work for my classes specifically, so I can't say on others. The online portion is like a computer lab, which is pretty cool. I wish there was a tad bit more communication on things, but other than that I think it's great.

Student

It was a great opportunity to get my nursing degree around a work schedule. Local clinical opportunities and some great professors. Developed relationships with professionals that have lasted years and provided great references. Entered the work force prepared with the knowledge, tools, and hands on experience to feel confident caring for individuals in a variety of settings.

Campus and vibes

Student

My overall experience at Wesmoreland Community College is alright. I mean, it's not the worst, but I'm not here for the "college experience," I'm just here to pursue a career as cheaply as possible.

Student

I loved the overall atmosphere and how this community college stove to include everyone full time and part time students in all aspects of campus life minus the housing. The education I received there was better than the one I was receiving at a 4 year university. The professors were amazing and kind for the most part and they really wanted students to excell and graduate. It was the best college I ever attended.

Student

I can not wait to start this new chapter of my life and to start out at a community college. It will open up a lot of experiences for me and opportunities for me.

Student

i like attending westmoreland county community college. The atmosphere is really good, student life is fun because they have different activities set up to do and some times they had different snacks for us as well. All of the professors I had for in person classes have been nothing but good teacher that are there to help you succeed.

Student

I enjoyed Westmoreland Community college a lot. I took and am taking my gen ed classes to start a nursing program. The campus was beautiful and my professors were all great. There were various food and snack stands all around and all the students were kind.

Student

I enjoy being on campus and the activities they have. The only major thing I tend to dislike is how some of the online classes can be with the workload.

Student

I love this college, I feel as though they really care for me as a person. They are very easy to get a hold of, very fast at resolving issues and giving you the help you need.

Cost and value

Student

My experience so far at WCCC has been okay. I have not started my classes yet, but I do like the pricing of tuition. It was much more affordable then many other places around me.
