Current Student

The process of getting into the pre-physical therapy program is not too difficult. The bonus of this pre-PT program is that once you are accepted you have a guarantee into our graduate program here as long as you maintain certain grades. I work in the admissions office, and our application here is very simple, no essay or letters of recommendation required!

I've enjoyed my experience at Widener so far. They have many resources to help students. Academically, I have been doing well, and the teachers are nice and willing to help when they can.

Sophomore

When I first heard about Widener and applied, I only did so because it was a free application and my mom wanted me to. I was convinced that I would not go there, but that all changed when I came for a accepted students day. There was such an inviting community presence and every single person was so nice, including all of the professors.

Current Student

Easy Application – There was no difficulty at all. There was no essay, no payment, and they got back to me within two weeks. Even if you are not considering Widener, I would still apply because it was too easy.

Junior

I have really enjoyed my experience at Widener. Being a part of a sports team has given me many friends and increased my social experience. Most professors are very involved and flexible and want to see you succeed.

Sophomore

I love Widener. Widener is my second home! I've learned so much during my freshman year and made many friends. The activities, organizations, and football/basketball games were so fun to attend.

I enjoyed my experience at Widener University. I was able to get involved in clubs and organizations that I loved. I was a Resident Assistant, University Ambassador, Peer mentor, CCGE Scholar and PRSSA.

About Widener University

The Campus Safety Office at Widener University is located in Old Main and is accessible 24/7. Students can contact them for transportation to and from the train station. While there is no charge for guest parking, all visitors and guests must obtain a temporary parking permit from the Office of Campus Safety.

Widener's honors program provides benefits including scholarships, priority registration and enriching academic experiences. In fall 2025, the program welcomed its largest incoming class of 147 students. Honors Week is a tradition since 1992 that celebrates the academic excellence of Widener undergraduates.
