Student reviews

Professors

Current Student

As a dual-enrollment high school student taking courses from Woodland, I would say that this school is both efficient and considerate with their work and services from what I have seen. Every course I have taken from this college has been worth my time, and I have learned many important subjects from thoughtful and skilled professors. Most of my classes have been online, but I have had the fortune of taking in-person classes twice (not counting dual-enrollment high school courses), and I have always felt welcomed as a younger student to challenge myself and learn complicated topics.

Current Student

I am currently attending Woodland Community College as a sophomore. I want to preface that, while I have taken other courses at Woodland Community College, most of my experience has been concentrated within the English department. With that being said, while there are only a few professors in the English department, it is evident that they care about the success of their students: whether that be transferring to a university, getting an associates degree, or even taking a class for recreational purposes.

Campus and vibes

Current Student

I tried to enroll in another local community college and they kept my enrollment on hold for some reason. I was enrolled and met with advisors in less than a week at Woodland. The staff has been very responsive, the instructors are all easily accessible, and I look forward to continuing my studies there during the summer. I am happy with the amount of resources they are providing me with transfer college information as well.

Student

While I think campus life is limited, if not consistently lacking, it is a supportive environment nonetheless. I would definitely recommend attending Woodland Community College, especially if you are transferring to a four-year university.
