As a Pre-Medical Sciences major, my experience at York College of Pennsylvania has been amazing! YCP offers over 100 majors and countless minors to choose from with many of the science courses providing hands-on wet lab experience. The professors are highly supportive both inside and outside the classroom, offering flexible office hours and genuine mentorship. Academic advisors at YCP go above and beyond to help students secure internships, shadowing opportunities, and undergraduate research experiences.

I personally have quite enjoyed my time at York College of Pennsylvania. It has been a good time to go and explore and see all the people around me who have come from a multitude of backgrounds and completely different lives from mine. The student life is great at York College of PA, in my opinion.

So far I have done my first week and overall I enjoyed it. To be honest I was scared to go to college because of the big change. But after the first week it seems quite simple.

They are very welcoming. The food is very good and the buildings are nice and clean. Orientation leaders need to be better vetted.

I am a current student focusing on my academics, and I have found it to be a great college for my needs. I have been able to directly connect with my professors and peers, and I have learned so much already. There are a plethora of on campus activities to helps students stay connected and expand their experiences, and I have found them to be helpful in making friends and learning more about the community, especially as a commuter. I think the campus safety system is very well put together, and makes me feel safe on campus, despite the issues that often occur in the surrounding areas.
