Academics are pretty good but in my opinion not quite everything they promised and most art/music majors I know are planning to transfer or have already because of how bad the arts are here even though those programs are hyped up so much by the school.

Campus and vibes

Current Student

Brevard college has been a school where I have been really able to come out and be myself, there are plenty of opportunities for students to spread their wings. The food isn't that good and our football program sucks, but we do have a lot of awesome outdoor sports! Rock climbing and mountain biking are becoming more and more popular as on campus activities and the city of Brevard is in a prime location for it. I definitely recommend coming here if you're the outdoorsy type.

This school is great if you’re an athlete. That being said, if you’re not then you’re going to struggle with the sheer number of sporty types on campus.

Student

Brevard College offers a distinctive academic experience rooted in close faculty relationships, immersive learning, and a beautiful natural setting. While the small scale presents some limitations in program variety and campus energy, many students thrive in its personalized and community-focused environment. If close mentorship, hands-on education, and natural surroundings are real priorities for you, it’s well worth exploring further—especially if you can visit or connect with current students and alumni.

Student

I’m personally kinda miserable here and probably going to transfer next year. I’ll just say that this school only has a 39% graduation rate for a reason.
