I love this college. It offers flexibility with classes and allows for one to space out their classes over more time if needed. Central Lakes College also allows students at surrounding colleges to participate in PSEO (Post-Secondary Education Option) or CIS (College in School) classes.

Campus and vibes

Student

I really enjoy the atmosphere, the professors are kind. The advisors were helpful on getting signed up and situated. When I had to come in and do a background check for the course I was enrolled in I had to bring my daughter with me and every one was so kind and helped keep her busy well I filled out paperwork. It is such a relief when you're in a bind like that and people just jump into help!

Student

I live 30 minutes away from campus, but all the staff are welcoming and through sports I have been involved with the campus life. I play volleyball and basketball and everyone is so welcoming and they support each other so much!

Student

I'm attending Central Lakes College in spring of 2025. My Mom was a student at CLC for a few years and had an amazing experience, leading me to want to attend as well. They are very diverse and inclusive. So far everyone thats helped me enroll has been fantastic. I got my GED at CLC was encouraged heavily to do my best and to ask questions.

The campus is beautiful and has a multitude of community outreach programs involved in the school and opportunities for students to attend who need financial help. The school offers a food bank and hosts lunch during the semester. CLC and WeCare Clinic collaborate and offer free sexual health services to students.

Student

It’s a good college with a nice community. I think the teachers can work a little bit more on themselves

Student

I love it here! Coming from someone who originally attended a 4 year university, I can confidently say that it feels so much more like home to me. I feel accepted and more encouraged than I did at my old school. Everyone is always looking to help you out and want you to succeed more than anything.
