Professors

Current Student

I am a Dual Enrollment student at GA Southern and I have to say that the professors are amazing, the course work isn't the worst, and student balance is excellent. I had a good transition into this college and my professors were amazing! I also took an online course which was perfect to accommodate my schedule as an athlete.

Campus and vibes

Student

Overall Georgia Southern University is a good College. It meets the basic needs of getting the degree and furthering your education if planned. The campus does a good job advertising different things on campus to get more involved in campus life, especially as freshman. The party talk is quite normal here, and something people do consistently on the weekends.

Student

Georgia Southern is a great university primarily for its flexibility. As a non-traditional student who came back to education after years away from schooling, I really needed a school that would meet my needs, and Southern provided. I was able to work out a curriculum that worked for me, and they were very accommodating when it came to housing and other needs. I think the biggest area that could be improved is diversity and disability accommodations. A lot of campus is treacherous for people with various disabilities (ie broken elevators, bad paving), and I think that could be improved.
