Gustavus is such a great place to go! You get such a well rounded education, and have access to so many opportunities that some colleges wouldn't offer. Gustavus faculty are incredible to work with, and they truly support you and what you want to do with your future.

Student

The classes are rigorous, but manageable, and you have so many resources you can use to help you succeed in college and in your classes. There are also so many ways to get involved at Gustavus, and the community there is genuinely so special.

Campus and vibes

Senior

The campus is very beautiful; lots of student activities taken place during and after school hours. The dorms are very cozy and staff are amazing.

Freshman

I have been at Gustavus for one year so far, and I absolutely loved it! I was a part of the swimming and diving team that won the MIAC Championship this year which was really fun. We had a lot of teams perform really well in sports this year.

Sophomore

Gustavus is a tight community! Everyone supports everyone, and you can't go anywhere without seeing a familiar face or someone you know. The professors are super supportive, and the small class sizes allow them to get to know you on a personal level. Athletics is another giant support system within the Gustavus community.

Sophomore

All of the athletes support each other within the same sport, and support for other sports. The location of Gustavus is just 15 minutes from Mankato and about an hour from the Twin Cities. Aspects like location and student body make Gustavus a very safe, welcoming, and supportive campus.

Junior

It seems like there is something to do every day on campus through all of the clubs and campus activities. Our college supports; arts, science, music, athletics, and theater/dance equally. The students here are very easy to get along with but you also don't have to get along with everyone here because it is a big enough campus you won't see them every day, but you will see them sometimes.
