The community college hosts a large number of high school students in separate programs. Unfortunately, the high school administration and the college administration does not always freely communicate. This translates into stressors in the classroom for instructors catering to different high school schedules and non high school students accommodating high school students' schedules.

I attended a program for BLET in 2005-2006 at Haywood Community College. The area is amazing with the Smokey Mountains, Blue Ridge Parkway and so many more natural resources around the area is magnificent. There are nature and walking trails all over campus, disk golf course, plus in the years since I’ve attended the campus has built many new buildings.
