Student reviews

Professors

College Sophomore

Good place to learn – Even after reading many negative reviews on HPU's academics, I still chose it as my college. Today, I am feeling proud of my decision. Advisors are friendly, caring and are capable enough to guide you. Faculty and staff respond to your emails immediately and are always willing to help you with study doubts. The thing I love the most is the free walk-in tutoring. Students can also arrange a tutor for their specific course free of cost. Workload does not pressurize the students. If you concentrate on your classes the whole semester, you are good to get a B+ or an A. However, this does not apply to Art, Languages, and a few other courses. Instructors, instead of sticking to the textbook, bring in a lot of practical examples which helps the student to understand the real world rather than simple theories. I enjoyed my transition to college and I am thankful to High Point University for making my college life wonderful.
