Hinds is a good school with even better teachers. It's not very big but there is so much help around the campus and it's plenty of other students there to help ease the tension of being in school.

coming to hinds community college will help you in multiple ways as to helping yo to gain the knowledge needed for furthering your education and gaining a great learning experience. Prospective students should get involved in any way they can to gain the best college experience. Participate in intramural sports or the band or Honors Program. Everyone at Hinds is very welcoming and helpful, so just ask around and you will find what you need.

When you are planning to become a student at Hinds Community College, you better be willing to work. Come to class prepared and with all the materials you need. Get enough sleep at night. Don't party during the week.

My second advisor gave me a class that I couldn't even take, which got dropped and switched right before I went to the class! Housing isn't the best, for example, we have JUST been informed that those of us in Allen-Dukes residence hall will have to come out of pocket for our own mini fridges!
