Student reviews

Campus and vibes

Student

Maine College of Art and Design is an okay school. The tuition is so high sometimes I wonder where my money is truly going to. The food is okay at best, with few options and hardly any vegan/ vegetarian options; when there is, they run out so quickly and don't make more.... The actual school building itself is super old and kind of falling apart ie, ceiling leaking, bathrooms never working, chipped paint, etc. The building is also very small, and for constantly growing departments its hard to find extra studio space for new students each year, which is very disappointing, especially when you are promised one for certain departments.
