Student reviews

Professors

Student

I really enjoyed all of the part time classes I was enrolled in. I was enrolled in only online courses throughout my senior year as well as my freshman year of college, which is the year I am currently in, and I had a great experience with professors as well as course work. It was all very well organized, and it was really simple to get in contact with professors when needed.

Student

On the plus side (or negative side---depending on your view point), the classes aren't too difficult. However, just because the classes are easy doesn't mean that the education is any less valuable. Many of the professors at Pikes Peak also teach at UCCS.

Student

The academic programs here are definitely impressive. I would say that the level of education being taught is as good, if better, than any local university.

Campus and vibes

Student

I took about two and a half years worth of credits at Pikes Peak State College (Primarily on Rampart Range Campus with a few online classes as well.) Overall, my experience was good! My professors were all very nice and seemed to care deeply about the subjects that they taught, which I find very important!

Student

If you put in the time and energy and you care about what you're learning, you will enjoy it. They have a lot of community type events outside of school; I never went to any, but there were always posters around campus advertising things. Overall, a good and affordable experience for anyone looking to pursue higher education.
