SCAD's tuition is approximately $40,095 for undergraduates and $41,085 for graduates. Financial aid, including scholarships, grants, federal and private loans, and work-study, is available for both U.S. and non-U.S. citizens. SCAD advisers are available to help students make a financial plan.

SCAD accepts applications at any time throughout the year with no deadlines to apply, and admission results normally take between two and four weeks. Applications must include academic transcripts; additional materials such as recommendations, a statement of purpose, or a well-crafted portfolio are suggested for further consideration. The acceptance rate is 84%.

SCAD offers more than 100 graduate and undergraduate degree programs across locations in Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia; Lacoste, France; and online via SCADnow. The curriculum emphasizes excellent arts education and effective career preparation. SCAD champions students’ professional success from their first day of class to their first job and beyond. A recent study indicates that 99% of SCAD graduates were employed, pursuing further education, or both within 10 months of graduation. SCAD provides students and alumni with ongoing career support through personal coaching, alumni programs, and a professional presentation studio.

SCAD offers an Integrated Path to Architectural Licensure, enabling students majoring in architecture to complete their B.F.A. and M.Arch. degrees as well as the Architect Registration Examination in an accelerated time frame. SCADpro, the university’s renowned research lab and prototype generator, provides opportunities for real-world assignments with corporate partners.

SCAD enrolls more than 17,500 undergraduate and graduate students from more than 120 countries, with international students comprising up to 25.4 percent of the student population. International student advisors offer support with visas, cultural adjustment, and academic success. Organizations like the Indian Students Association provide social and cultural connections.
