Student reviews

Professors

Student

It has been great for continuing adult education. There online programs offer flexibility and options.

Alumni

SPCC is also flexible for students looking to apply extra credits, such as CLEP or SAT, to their degree, allowing them to take fewer classes while demonstrating academic competency. At the end of the degree path, you will create an ePortfolio which can be beneficial for seeking jobs.

Alumni

I attended SPCC mostly online and had a fabulous experience. Professors were accessible through email. The one class I took in person (public speaking) was the highlight of my time there.

Alumni

SPCC imparted real skills to me and prepped me for a four-year college. Though I did not participate in Student Life, the college always had events for students and frequently partnered with local organizations, offering simple opportunities to serve.

Campus and vibes

Student

SPCC is a great school. The student resources are very diverse and I am assisted through everything I am curious about. I enjoy the friendliness and care of the academic advisors, teachers, and staff and appreciate their help. I would like for there to be more programs available or greater detail in aiding students (especially first time college students).

Student

I love the atmosphere. Great people, assistance in every corner!! Very hands-on university and they care about you as if you’re more than just a statistic/paycheck to them, which is very uncommon in universities nowadays.

Alumni

Overall, South Piedmont Community College is an excellent start for a variety of students. Though the admissions process may be somewhat murky, I was able to start college young; others could find it an efficient and low-stress beginning to a college degree at an older age.
