The flexible scheduling for each term fit my schedule perfectly as a full time working mother of 2! The instructors were extremely helpful and flexible when life events got in the way! Getting in touch with administrators needs improvement, but the academics are amazing!

I'm an English major who wants to work in sports communication. My time here at the school has had its ups and downs but one thing that I know about this school is the amount of time and effort that is put into our schooling makes it worth the pain that you could go through here. We are small and a private school but here we will be a tight community.

Since the day I applied to UMO, everyone has been so helpful and friendly. The website is easy to navigate. I didn't need to reach out for help finding information. When I did need assistance, I was greeted by the Director, who has been so patient with all my questions. I am grateful and appreciative of my new UMO family.

UMO is a great safe campus. Due to UMO's small campus and class sizes, you get one one-on-one attention from your professors and advisors. The student activities club works tirelessly to provide activities for students to do on campus.

The University of Mount Olive has allowed me to join clubs and other school organizations and have a flexible class schedule. They have allowed me to get help from professors when needed on assignments. I would to see more leadership clubs and societies.

I loved the chapel personally I grew up going to church with the praise and worship team and their worship team is amazing soul touching and never fails. What I wish I could see change is more groups that people could get into and be more involved in

Current Student

Mount Olive is a very welcoming campus and has many things to do throughout the month. The clubs are very fun to join and all the professors are very helpful and kind. I love being able to walk around campus because it is very quiet and very beautiful.

I really enjoyed attending the last two years of my undergrad program here. The only things I would change about the university itself is having more events that commuters can attend, most campus events were evenings/nights and as a commuter with an hour commute it made if difficult to make friends and have experiences outside of classes.

Current Student

The evens they had during the day were fun, I just wish there were more. The class sizes were perfect, some filled with 30 students other classes had 10-15 students. Overall, the student life there was good and safe - I didn't have any of the same concerns I had at my previous university while attending UMO.
