Don't be discouraged by the smaller size of the school. The education you receive here is just as great as any bigger, more well-known school.

Also, make sure that you will enjoy the degree you declare! You will be here for at least 4 years, so be happy in what you do and make sure it is what you want.

Campus and vibes

Student

Attend Valdosta State University and trust me, you will love it! But also be mindful of your financial status. Try to avoid loans as much as possible. Have realistic goals and do not allow someone to pressure you into choosing a school that is not right for you! Go and explore campuses and take your time to figuring out what best suits you!

Current Student

If you are considering Valdosta State University as your future college, i think you should come. VSU is very nice, and you will receive a wonderful education. Don't be nervous about the transition at all. VSU gives the students the independence they need while also making sure that they are protected.

Student

Get the one that is $950. It will teach you how to budget, how to make use of the deals on campus, can be used in all dining areas and the two markets. Besides, Palms and Hopper dining have been known to not taste good at all and both cost $9 to get in (as of Fall '14) and even then majority of the stations are limited to what you can get.

Cost and value

Student

The cost of Valdosta State University beats out the cost of all my friends colleges! VSU's price of room and board, tuition, and fees is cheaper than most of the colleges in the United States (for it to be a university!). We have it all in one....a movie theatre, cafe, gym......all already paid for out of tuition and fees!
